Pumpkin Patch Vandal Strikes

(Spencer)– A Halloween scrooge has struck a local pumpkin patch.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in tracking down whoever’s responsible for uprooting about 100 pumpkin plants from a patch at 2670 Highway 18 in Clay county.

Authorities say the incident took place sometime between 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
