(Spencer)– There’s a change in the entertainment line-up at this year’s Clay County Fair.
Fair officials say they were notified that Billy Currington has had to cancel remaining dates on his 2007 schedule due to “severe vocal problems”.
Currington was to open for Diamond Rio at the Clay County Fair Sunday, September 9th.
Instead, Phil Hurst, Secretary/Manager for the Clay County Fair, says Williams and Ree will perform in place of Currington.
Hurst says those who have purchased tickets for the Billy Currington/Diamond Rio show can convert their tickets for the Williams and Ree/Diamond Rio show and receive a free gate admission; they can convert their tickets and receive a four dollar refund; or they can cancel their tickets altogether and receive a full refund.
