Dickinson County has a new fair Queen. She is 18-year-old Elizabeth Smith, a 2007 graduate of Spirit Lake High School. Elizabeth is the daughter of Curtis and Sandra Smith. Elizabeth has been a fixture of the Dickinson County Fair for many years but this is the first year she has run for fair queen. She is looking forward to the State Fair in Des Moines next week. 16-year-old Danielle Dana, daughter of John and Kathleen Dana of Milford, was named runner up.
