(Estherville)– Four students from Iowa Lakes Community College are among those attending this year’s Okoboji Entrepreneurial Institute which began Sunday and continues through Friday (Aug. 10th).
They include Dahmon Gullord of Fairmont, Minnesota, a sophopmore in the Accounting Specialist/Business Transfer program; Kara Kramer of Spencer, a summer graduate of the Business Administration and Management program; Beth Lee of Fargo, North Dakota, a summer graduate of the Business Administration and Management/Graphic Design program; and Daniel Niemeier of Cherokee, a second-year student in the Ag Transfer program with an emphasis in Ag Business.
All four went through a screening process and were selected to attend the institute, joining students from the University of Northern Iowa, Iowa State University and the University of Northern Iowa.
A total of 32 students are attending this year’s institute being put on by the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation, Iowa Department of Economic Development and the Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Centers.
Keynote speakers for this year’s institute include Gary Kiedaisch of The Coleman Company and John Pappajohn of the Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Centers.
