(Estherville)– A Cresco, Iowa man faces charges for allegedly dumping a large pile of trash into a road ditch in Emmet county.
Emmet County Sheriff Mike Martens says based on an investigation, deputies charged 19-year-old Alan Lewis with littering…a simple misdemeanor. The charge is punishable by a fine and costs of up to $159.
Lewis was cited and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
The garbage was dumped along a road north of Estherville.
