(Spencer)– A two-vehicle collision Monday at the intersection of West Milwaukee and First Avenue West in Spencer sent one person to the hospital.
Spencer police say it involved vehicles driven by 80-year-old Robert Barringer of Spencer and 30-year-old Laura Gilman of Spencer.
Gilman was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with possible injuries; no injuries were reported to Barringer, who was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
1,100-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1999 Ford Windstar van driven by Barringer, while a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Gilman sustained an estimated one thousand dollars in damage.
The mishap took place shortly after 5:30 p.m.
