(Lakefield, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash Tuesday on Highway 86 in Jackson county resulted in minor injuries to a Lakefield man.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 57-year-old Bruce Knutson of Lakefield was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer northbound when he fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle crossed over into the southbound lane and went into the ditch.
Knutson suffered a lower back strain but declined treatment on the scene.
Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle.
The mishap took place around 7:30 a.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
