(Spencer)– A collision with a light pole has resulted in charges against a Sioux Rapids man.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report shortly after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday of a vehicle that hit a light pole in Royal and took off.
A deputy located the suspect vehicle a short time later.
The driver, 23-year-old Adam Cox of Sioux Rapids, was charged with operating while intoxicated…first offense; reckless driving and no insurance.
Cox was booked into the Clay county jail pending an appearance before a magistrate.
