(Spirit Lake)– The Inter Lakes Association, a combined organization of representatives from the various protective associations in the lakes area, has been in existence already since the early 1990’s, but the organization will be holding its first annual meeting later this month.
Steve Anderson, Coordinator of the Cleanwater Alliance, tells KUOO news the meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 25th at the Dickinson County Community Building in Spirit Lake.
Anderson says DNR Director Rich Leopold and Bill Ehm, who heads up the DNR’s Water Resources Division, will be the keynote speakers.
Anderson says a question-and-answer session will follow the presentations by Leopold and Ehm.
The meeting is open to all interested persons–you don’t have to be a member of the Interlake Association to attend.
