Spencer Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charge

(Spencer)– A traffic stop early Friday in Spencer resulted in the arrest of a Cylinder man on a drug charge.

Spencer police say an officer pulled over a vehicle shortly before 4:00 a.m. in the 2900 block of Highway Boulevard in Spencer. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of 23-year-old Nicholas Gappa who was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug parpahernalia.

Gappa was booked into the Clay county jail.

Spencer police were assisted by the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.
