(Emmetsburg)– An investigation into a report of a missing juvenile this (Friday) morning resulted in a charge against an Emmetsburg teen.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were asked to assist the Emmetsburg Police Department in locating a possible missing or runaway female juvenile from Dickinson county.
Following an investigation, authorities were eventually able to locate the juvenile at a residence at 1703 18th Street in Emmetsburg.
Another person at that location, 19-year-old Matthew Thorsbakken of Emmetsburg, allegedly became uncooperative. He was placed under arrest and charged with interference with official acts.
Thorsbakken was booked into jail pending an initial court appearance.
