(Spirit Lake)– The national flag truck will be in Spirit Lake to comemmorate the anniversary of 9/11.
The truck, which carries historic U-S flags and those with special designations, will be in Spirit Lake Tuesday (Sept. 11th) for a ceremony at 10:00 a.m. at the High School football field.
Mark Valentine of Boston is the curator of the national flag truck. He says three very large U-S flags that have special significance will be unfurled during the truck’s visit.
In addition, Valentine says metal framework from a building in the world trade center will also be on display.
The public is invited to the ceremony.
