(Undated)– Only a very light turnout is expected in Tuesday’s (9/11) school board elections in Dickinson county.
Only one district is sporting a race–that’s Spirit Lake where incumbents Ann Goerss and Beth Will are being challenged by Randy Magg. Todd Hummel is running unopposed to fill a vacancy.
In Terril incumbent Larry Faharty is unopposed while Tim Roth is unopposed to fill a vacancy.
Doug Stahly and Art Schumacher are unopposed for two open seats on the Harris-Lake school board.
Two seats are up for election in the Okoboji district. Incumbent Phil Miklo and Dee Wermersen are running unopposed.
Polls will be open from Noon until 8:00 p.m.
In the Harris-Lake Park district voters will cast ballots in two locations–those living in the Dickinson county part of the district vote at the Lake Park Community Center, while those living in Osceola county will vote at the Harris Civic Center in Harris.
Voters in the Okoboji district vote at the Milford Community Center; polling site for the Spirit Lake district is the Dickinson County Community Building in Spirit Lake; and those in the Terril district cast ballots at the Terril Memorial Building.
