(Spencer)– A Sutherland man was injured over the weekend when a truck he was driving left the road and rolled near Webb.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 53-year-old Daniel Horstman of Sutherland was driving a 2000 Chevrolet truck westbound on 480th Street when he went into the north ditch. The truck slid sideways and hit a field approach, causing it to roll. The truck came to rest on the driver’s side facing northeast.
Horstman was taken to Spencer Hospital. There was no word on the extent of his injuries or condition.
Authorities believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
The truck sustained an estimated six thousand dollars in damage.
The crash took place around 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
