(Okoboji)– Pearson Lakes Arts Center has landed an internationally renowned speaker.
Primatologist Jane Goodall will give a lecture and sign books at the Pearson Lakes Arts Center at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 5th.
The event is sponsored by the Messengers of the Healing Winds Foundation and hosted by Friends of Lakeside Lab.
Tickets are 50-dollars each; 25-dollars for students. They’re available at the Pearson Lakes Art Center Box Office. Proceeds go to establish the Dr. Jane Goodall Scholarship Fund at Lakeside Laboratory.
Dr. Goodall first became famous in the 1960’s for her pioneering research on chimpanzees. Her findings transformed scientific perceptions of the relationship between humans and animals.
