Fire Destroys E’ville Warehouse

(Estherville)– Fire destroyed a warehouse Wednesday in Estherville.

Estherville Fire Chief Dick Beaver says firefighters were called to 708 South 10th Street shortly before 3:00 p.m. Upon arriving Beaver says smoke could be seen coming from the eves on both ends of the building.

The Wallingford and Gruver fire departments were called for assistance.

Firefighters were on the scene about four hours.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. A representative of the State Fire Marshal’s Office is expected on the scene today (Thurs.).

The Estherville Ambulance Service, Estherville Police Department and the Estherville Street Department assisted on the scene.
