$20,000 Powerball Ticket Sold At E’Ville Convenience Store

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– If you purchased a ticket for this past Wednesday’s Powerball drawing at the Kum ‘n Go Store in Estherville you might want to check it.

Lottery officials say seven Powerball tickets sold in Iowa matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win prizes of 10-thousand dollars each.

One ticket sold at the Kum ‘n Go Store in Estherville added the Power Play option to win 20-thousand.

Winning numbers for Wednesday’s drawing were 25, 27, 31, 44, 54 and the Powerball was 8. The Power Play number was 2.

There were reports from other lotteries in the Powerball game that winners in Wednesday’s drawing reported playing numbers mentioned during a television documentary as being frequently selected in lottery drawings. The Learning Channel recently aired a documentary titled “The Lottery Changed My Life” that followed the experiences of recent lottery jackpot winners.

Mary Neubauer of the Iowa Lottery says it isn’t known yet whether any of Iowa’s winners in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing played those numbers.
