(Spencer)– Charges have been filed in connection with a car/pedestrian accident Wednesday evening in Spencer.
Spencer police say it happened around 10:00 p.m. near a driveway in the area of West 10th Street and Fifth Avenue West in Spencer.
Authorities say 39-year-old Michelle Taylor of Sioux Falls was backing out of the driveway when she collided with 32-year-old Jason Anderson of Spencer who was putting things into the back of a vehicle that police say was parked illegally in the 900 block of Fifth Avenue West.
Police say Anderson was pinched between the two vehicles and fell back onto the second one, breaking out a tail light.
Anderson was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with minor bruising to his leg. He was treated and released.
Taylor was cited for no proof of insurance and operation without registration.
