(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake school board hopes to have a new permanent Superintendent hired in mid-to-late January, 2008.
Board members Monday reviewed a tentative time frame and outlined the process that would be used with representatives of Gaylord Tryon and Associates…a consulting firm the district has hired to assist in the process.
In addition to the board itself, the interviewing process will also involve several focus groups, including administrators, students, support staff, teachers, parents and community representatives.
Under the timeline that was discussed Monday, the board would interview three to five finalists January 10th. That list would then be pared to two finalists who would be interviewed January 15th and 16th, with the final appointment being made January 17th, 2008.
