(Jackson, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Friday at the intersection of Jackson County Raods 34 and 29 injured two people.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says Phillip Neal of Albert Lea, Minnesota was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound on County Road 34 and Sandra Hesebeck of rural Jackson was driving a 2003 Buick LeSabre northbound on County Road 29 when the two collided in the intersection. Both vehicles came to rest in the northwest ditch.
Neal was treated on the scene for minor injuries; Hesebeck was transported to the Jackson Medical Center and was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. There was no immediate word on her condition or extent of injuries.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Alpha First Responders, Jackson Ambulance and Fire Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities say the crash remains under investigation.
