(Spencer)– A disturbance early this (Thursday) morning at a Spencer establishment has landed a Spencer man in jail on multiple charges.
Police say they were called to 400 First Avenue East around 1:30 a.m. where officers made contact with a suspect identified as 47-year-old Lonny Daugherty of Spencer.
Upon investigating, officers learned Daugherty was wanted on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.
Additional charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and interference with official acts were filed against Daugherty, who was booked into the Clay county jail.
