(Sibley)– A two-vehicle collision Sunday in Osceola county sent two people to the hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office says 42-year-old Nancy Nasers of Bigelow, Minnesota was eastbound on 130th Street when she failed to stop for a stop sign. She collided with a vehicle driven by 16-year-old Codey Fisher of Bigelow who was northbound on county road L-44.
The impact sent Nasers’ vehicle into the northeast ditch where it struck a utility pole.
Fisher and Nasers were taken by ambulance to the Osceola Community Hospital with unknown injuries.
8,500-dollars in damage was estimated to a 2001 Dodge Neon driven by Fisher and to a 1996 Oldsmobile Nasers was driving.
No damage was reported to the utility pole.
Nasers was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
The collision took place shortly after 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
