(Spencer)—Spencer police are investigating a rash of car burglaries that occurred late Saturday night or early Sunday.
Police say several of the vehicles entered were parked in the 200 to 300 block of West Third Street.
Entry was gained through unlocked doors, but in one case police say a window was broken out.
Various items were missing, including CD’s, hand tools, a CD player, CD face plate and a small amount of money.
Other items taken were found abandoned a short distance away from the vehicles they were taken from.
