November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– An Okoboji man wanted on Dickinson county warrants has been arrested in Worth county.

48-year-old Jeffrey Mark Clark is being held in the Dickinson county jail on 20,300-dollars bond.

Authorities say Clark was wanted in connection with an incident on December 15th in which he allegedly held a 79-year-old female in a vehicle against her will. He’s accused of assaulting the woman and abandoning her along a gravel northwest of Terril after taking her cell phone and vehicle.

The woman was able to walk to a farmhouse and called 911.

Clark was taken into custody by the Worth County Sheriff’s Office when he was located in a stolen vehicle near Northwood.

Clark has been charged with willful injury…a class “D” felony; false imprisonment and domestic abuse assault…both serious misdemeanors; operation without owner’s consent…an aggravated misdemeanor; violation of a restricted license; and theft in the fifth degree…both simple misdemeanors.
