(Heron Lake, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash early this (Tuesday) morning on Highway 60 just northeast of Heron Lake has claimed a life.
The Minnesota State Patrol isn’t releasing the name of the victim pending notification of relatives.
Authorities say the victim lost control of a 1997 Pontiac van after the westbound vehicle went onto the shoulder. From there it went into the median and rolled, ejecting the driver.
The van was totaled.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Heron Lake Fire Department and ambulance.
It happened shortly before 1:00 a.m.
