(Undated)– Area residents will have several opportunities to make their feelings known to local lawmakers during this year’s legislative session.
The Spencer and Iowa Great Lakes Area Chambers of Commerce are again hosting a series of public forums.
The schedule kicks off January 26th with an Eggs and Issues forum at the Spencer city council chambers.
Forums are also set for February 9th, February 23rd and March 29th from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the Spencer city council chambers and those afternoons from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at the Hedberg Theater of the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum in Arnolds Park.
The forums will feature State Representative Mike May of Spirit Lake and Senator David Johnson of Ocheyedan.
