Raids In Spirit Lake & Okoboji Result In Several Drug-Related Arrests

(Spirit Lake)– Three people are in jail this (Wednesday) morning following drug raids Tuesday evening in Okoboji and Spirit Lake.

Authorities say they took place around 8:00 p.m. and involved the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force comprised of the Clay and Dickinson County Sheriff’s Offices, Spirit Lake Police Department, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the HEAT Team–a northern Iowa/southern Minnesota high risk entry team, along with the Okoboji Police Department.

27-year-old Daniel Riedmann was charged with possession of methamphetamine…a class “C” felony; possession of marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; possession of anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture; conspiracy; and possession of a precursor with intent to manufacture methamphetamine…all class “D” felonies; and transporting anhydrous ammonia in an unauthorized container…a serious misdemeanor.

23-year-old Nathaniel Stoever was charged with possession of marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; aiding and abetting the manufacturing of methamphetamine…a class “B” felony; possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine…a class “D” felony; possession of anhydrous ammonia in an unauthorized container; and child endangerment…both serious misdemeanors.

And 23-year-old Kristin Kay was charged with aiding and abetting the manufacturing of methamphetamine…a class “B” felony; possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine…a class “D” felony; and possession of marijuana…a serious misdemeanor.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
