(Emmetsburg)– A two-vehicle collision Tuesday west of Emmetsburg resulted in injuries to two people.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Patty Schany of Ruthven was westbound on 370th Street and Darrel Weishaar of Curlew was northbound on 410th Avenue when the two collided in the intersection.
Injuries were reported to both Schany and Weishaar who were transported to a hospital by private vehicle.
A 2006 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Schany and a 2003 Toyota Camry driven by Weishaar were both totaled.
Weishaar was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
The mishap took place shortly before 5:30 p.m.
