(Spencer)– A two-vehicle collision Wednesday in Spencer sent a Spirit Lake woman to the hospital.
Spencer police say 19-year-old Amanda Buhrman of Spirit Lake was southbound on Fourth Avenue West when she crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming vehicle driven by 75-year-old Richard Krout of Storm Lake.
Buhrman was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with what was described as non-incapacitating injuries. No injuries were reported to Krout.
Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1996 Geo Metro driven by Buhrman; a 2003 Dodge Ram truck driven by Krout sustained an estimated one thousand dollars in damage.
The mishap took place shortly before 11:30 a.m.
