(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake school board apparently will NOT consider a request from former High School Principal Jed Sherman to rescind his resignation.
A letter obtained by KUOO news addressed to Sherman’s attorney, Rick Barry, from Lonnie Saunders, an attorney representing the Spirit Lake School district, says the school board considers the matter closed.
The letter goes on to say that Sherman didn’t request the board rescind his resignation either at the February 5th meeting when it voted three-to-two to accept it, or five days leading up to that meeting.
Barry has indicated he’ll continue his efforts to force the school board to take a public vote on the recision request.
