Wisconsin Man Sustains Minor Injuries In Semi Mishap

November 22, 2014

(Sherburn, Mn.)– A Wisconsin man was injured Sunday evening when a semi he was driving jackknifed and slid into the median on Interstate 90 near Sherburn.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 33-year-old Howard Arthur of Janesville, Wisconsin was westbound when he drove into a white-out. Authorities say Arthur hit the brakes after seeing brake lights ahead of him, causing the semi to jack-knife. It then straightened out, but slid into the median where it tipped onto the driver’s side.

Arthur was treated on the scene by paramedics for a minor head injury.

Moderate damage was reported to the 2007 Volvo semi.

The mishap took place shortly after 10:30 p.m.
