(Spencer)– The Northwest Aging Association is seeking nomination petitions for four open seats on the agency’s board of directors.
Cynthia Beauman, the agency’s Executive Director, says persons 21 years of age or older interested in representing and campaigning for the open seats in Clay, Dickinson, Lyon and O’Brien counties must obtain a nomination petition. They’re available at the office located at 714 10th Avenue East in Spencer or by calling 800-242-5033. Signed petitions must be returned by April 11th. Public elections for the seats will be held in May at Dinner Date sites in each of the four counties.
Nominees must reside in the county they want to represent.
Each member serves a two-year term on the board, which meets monthly to oversee programs administered by the Northwest Aging Association.
