(George)– Lyon county authorities say a George man sustained minor injuries over the weekend when he tried o avoid hitting a deer.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old David Schoo of George was driving a 1999 Dodge Dakota northbound when a deer came out in front of him. Deputies say Schoo attempted to slow down to avoid hitting the deer, but lost control. The vehicle traveled down an embankment and went through some trees.
Schoo sustained some minor scratches fut didn’t seek immediate treatment.
