(Milford)– An early morning fire has damaged a garage in Milford.
Fire Chief Brian Craig tells KUOO news Milford firefighters were called to 1109 “P” Avenue around 2:00 a.m. regarding a garage fire.
The Milford Police Department arrived on the scene and evacuated the occupants of the home by the time firefighters arrived.
Craig says the fire was electrical in nature and was confined to the attic of the garage. Damage was estimated at 50-thousand dollars.
Milford firefighters were on the scene about two hours this (Saturday) morning.
No injuries were reported.
The Milford Fire Department was assisted on the scene by the Milford Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance.
