Spencer Woman Accused Of Road Rage

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A case of road rage resulted in a charge against a Spencer woman Friday.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was southbound on Grand Avenue in Spencer around 12:20 p.m. when the driver of a Ford Escape attempted to change lanes in heavy traffic. The lane change was attempted several times unsuccessfully before traffic eased and the maneuver could be completed. Upon completion, the driver allegedly “flipped off” the deputy and used profanity toward him.

The deputy made contact with the driver around 2:00 p.m. at the South Park Mall.

The driver, identified as 28-year-old Lisa Blazek, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. She was processed and released after posting a 300-dollar cash bond.
