(West Okoboji)– An Okoboji man was injured early this (Wednesday) morning when a pickup collided with a tree in the Terrace Park area of West Okoboji.
Authorities say 54-year-old Blain Kuchel of Okoboji was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. His injuries weren’t believed to be serious.
An estimate of damage and the make and model of the pickup weren’t immediately available.
Police say an operating while intoxicated citation was issued in connection with the crash. It took place around 2:30 a.m.
