(Spirit Lake)– A tax exempt foundation that supports community betterment projects in Dickinson county is about to start taking applications for its next round of grants.
The Dickinson County Endowment Fund receives its funding from private donations, gifts and bequests as well as from state gaming revenues.
Applications for grants from the Dickinson County Endwoment Fund will be available beginning Thursday, May 1st at their website at www.dcefund.org, or at the ISU Extension Office, the Voluntary Action Center in Spirit Lake or any public library in Dickinson county.
The application deadline is 4:30 p.m. June 30th.
Grant writing workshops will be held May 12th at 1:00 p.m. and May 19th at 7:00 p.m. at the Spirit Lake campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.
