(Milford)—A two-vehicle collision Thursday in Milford sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries.
Milford police say it happened around 3:20 p.m. on Highway 71 in front of Buy Rite in Milford.
Authorities say Linda Seeger of Milford was attempting to turn south onto Highway from a driveway at Buy Rite when she collided with a vehicle driven by Bonnie Wells of Spencer.
Police say the impact of the crash caused the vehicle driven by Wells to spin, coming to rest next to a curb facing the wrong direction.
Wells and a passenger in her vehicle, who’s name wasn’t available, were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare where they were treated for minor injuries.
Seeger refused treatment.
Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 2006 Honda Oddysey driven by Seeger; a 2007 Honda S-U-V driven by Wells sustained an estimated 20-thousand dollars in damage.
The Milford Police Department was assisted on the scene by Milford Fire and Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics.
