(Spencer)– Arts On Grand in Spencer has a new Director.
The Spencer Arts Council has appointed Martin Arthur of Spencer to the position.
Arthur has served on the organization’s board of directors since 2003 and is associated with many arts-related organizations.
He currently serves on boards of directors for SPACE, ArtsLIVE and Friends of the Auditorium. Arthur also rejuvenated the Spencer Area Concert Association and has brought performers from across the country to Spencer for his house concert series.
Martin is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Spanish. He is a freelance writer and editor, as well as an adjunct professor at Northwest Iowa Community College.
