(Spirit Lake)– Incumbent Greg Baloun easily won Tuesday’s primary election for the Republican nomination for Dickinson County Sheriff.
According to unofficial results from the Dickinson County Auditor’s Office, Baloun received 619 votes while his challenger, Stacy Newgard, had 111.
Baloun now moves on to face Shilo Brevik in the November General Election. Brevik was uncontested in the Democratic primary, receiving 97 votes.
