(Spencer)– Four suspects have been taken into custody and face charges in connection with several vandalism reports investigated by Spencer and Sioux Rapids police.
Authorities say tires on several vehicles were damaged along with some windows between May 7th and May 15th of this year.
Police say a subsequent investigation resulted in criminal mischief in the first degree charges being filed against four people. They include 21-year-old Aaron Beckman, 18-year-old Alexander Larson and 24-year-old Justin Woodyard…all of Spencer; and 17-year-old Cody Lumsden of Hartley.
The charge is a class “C” felony.
The adults were booked into the Clay county jail while the juvenile ws released to his parents.
The four are accused of damaging over 13-thousand dollars worth of property in Spencer.
