(Spencer)– Another act has been announced for this year’s Clay County Fair.
Jason Aldean will perform in front of the grandstand Sunday, September 7th. Eric Church will open the show at 7:30 that evening.
Aldean made his big break in country music in 2006 with the hit “Hicktown”. He’s had other chart toppers including “Why” and “Amarillo Sky”. Aldean was named Top New Male Vocalist at the 2006 Academy of Country Music Awards.
Church, a newcomer from Granite Falls, North Carolina, is best known for his album “Sinners Like Me” which includes hits “Guys Like Me”, “How ‘Bout You” and “Two Pink Lines”.
Tickets for the September 7th show will be 24-dollars grandstand reserve seating and 19-dollars annex reserve seating.
The first day of postmakrs on mail-orders for grandstand event tickets is June 23rd. Phone orders will be taken starting July 14th. The fairgrounds box office opens July 21st.
