(Spencer)– Four people have been elected to seats on the board of directors of the Northwest Aging Association.
Bob Rose of Spencer was elected to the seat representing Clay county; Irene Kruger of Lake Park will represent Dickinson county; Ruth Caswell of Rock Rapids was elected to the seat representing Lyon county and Carol Wellcome of Sheldon will represent O’Brien county on the board.
They join Don Linnan of Buena Vista county; Wayne West of Emmet county; Frank Leu of Osceola county; Dee Pyle of Palo Alto county and Mabel Mantel of Sioux county.
Each director serves a two-year term representing the constituents age 60 and older in each county. Board members oversee expenditures for aging programs and services the Northwest Aging Association provides in its nine-county service area.
The board meets monthly at the association’s office in Spencer.
