(Estherville)– Meeting in special session Thursday, the board of trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College accepted the low bid of 317,300-dollars from Christensen Construction of Estherville for the construction of a wrestling practicing facility at the Estherville campus.
The 45 by 123 foot building will be constructed on the east side of the campus, just south of “The Max” student center.
Construction is expected to begin soon with completion by September 1st.
The college plans to begin offering wrestling for the first time this fall.
Iowa Lakes Community College also plans to start soccer competition during the 2009-2010 college year.
