(Spencer)– The Clay County Fair announced this (Tuesday) morning country music legend Trisha Yearwood will perform on the opening night of this year’s fair, Saturday, September 6th at 7:30 p.m. in front of the grandstand.
The vocal group “Rockapella” will open for Yearwood.
Yearwood’s hits include “She’s In Love With The Boy”, “Like We Never Had A Broken Heart”, “That’s What I Like About You” and “The Woman Before Me”. Four of her 10 studio albums have been certified gold, four platinum, one double platinum and another quadruple platinum.
This will mark the 18th anniversary since Yearwood and her husband, Garth Brooks, both appeared at the Clay County Fair in 1991. She will dedicate the new grandstand stage before her performance.
