(Spencer)– A Spencer man faces drug charges after a sheriff’s deputy found him and a woman shortly after 10:00 p.m. Thursday in a vehicle parked in the Ocheyedan Gun Range parking lot on Clay county road B-24.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was on routine patrol when he noticed a vehicle in the lot with its hazard lights on.
Authorities say a man in the vehicle was identified as 49-year-old Timothy Knight of Spencer.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the deputy finding what’s alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Knight was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into the Clay county jail.
