(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake School District is re-starting its search for a new Superintendent, which was abruptly halted last year when the district’s financial woes began to surface.
School Board President Beth Will says the board Monday decided to meet with representatives of Gaylord, Tryon and Associates, the same consulting firm they worked with when the original search started a little more than a year ago. Will says the board will establish a new timeframe for the search during the September 15th meeting.
Will says the consulting firm has already indicated they should be able to expedite things a bit as some of the preliminary work in the search was done a year ago and won’t have to be repeated.
