(Milford)– This past weekend’s Relay For Life at the Okoboji High School track in Milford is being described by organizers as another huge success.
Di Hirt says the fundraising event for the American Cancer Society took in 65-thousand dollars, reaching their goal.
Hirt says over 80 cancer survivors turned out. She thanks all those who participated, as well as the sponsors for this year’s event.
Another fundraising event for Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society, a tour of newly rennovated kitchens in the Iowa Great Lakes, will be held August 10th. Tickets for the event are $100 each.
