A Sign That Summer Is Beginning To Wane: It’s Fair Time

(Spirit Lake)– Here’s a sign that summer is beginning to wane–it’s county fair time.

The Dickinson County 4-H and FFA Fair in Spirit Lake begins Sunday (July 27th) and continues through Thursday, July 31st.

Cory Petersen of the Dickinson County Extension Office says static exhibits are being judged today (Sat. July 26th) and will be on display to the public beginning at 9:00 a.m. Sunday (July 27th).

Other events Sunday (July 27th) include the Horse Show at 9:00 a.m. and a dinner concert featuring “Generations of Rock ‘n Roll”. The Dickinson County Beef Producers will grill a steak dinner from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. Cost is 12 dollars per person. The Sunrise Kiwanis Club will also be holding an ice cream social.
