(Emmetsburg)– A single-vehicle crash last week in Palo Alto county resulted in minor injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office says Kelsey Hart of Terril was driving a 1991 Pontiac Grand Am westbound on 280th Street west of Graettinger when the vehicle left the road to the right. Authorities say Hart over-corrected as she brought the vehicle back onto the road. It then crossed the center line, fish-tailed and left the road to the right where it went into the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its roof.
Hart was able to get out of the vehicle and was transported by private vehicle to seek medical attention for some minor injuries.
The vehicle, owned by Tim Matthews of Terril, was totaled.
The mishap took place shortly before Noon Thursday.
